Standard Pricing for Meals:     

EARTHWISE PRICING HAS THREE COMPONENTS:

1)   A $300 service fee for all aspects of the cooking day, which is usually an eight-hour day consisting of shopping, prepping, cooking, cooling, packaging, labeling, and clean-up.  It also includes advance menu planning, the cost of food containers, and the cost of gas for my vehicle.

2)   A $25 pantry fee to cover the cost of Chef Lynne’s pantry items such as: organic spices, herbs, flours, sweeteners, vinegars, Celtic Sea Salt, and organic oils and fats, used in preparing Earthwise meals.  This fee also includes the cost of supplies used for cooking and cleaning, such as parchment paper, cheesecloth, paper towels, and detergent.

3)   Reimbursement for the actual cost of food.

 6% Connecticut Sales Tax Applies

Many clients prefer only refrigerated meals that they can eat within three to five days after cooking.  This is easily accommodated.

Some clients prefer mostly fresh-frozen meals and only a few refrigerated items.

Whatever your preferences, Earthwise will adapt to your needs.

Typically, on any given cooking day, Chef Lynne will prepare four different main courses, three different side dishes, and a soup, or one large salad with dressing. The number of servings of each part of the meal varies according to the needs of the client. For example, a two-member household would usually want two servings of each dish. Twosomes sometimes opt for four servings of each dish to obtain greater value for my services. A household with four members would normally have four servings of each dish. The basic idea is to provide each member of a household with four different complete dinners that they can reheat over a four-day period.
